Why Remote Coaching Might Be Right for You

At MWBC, we know that great coaching isn’t about just showing up to a gym doing the work—it’s about having the right structure, feedback, and support to actually progress. That’s why remote coaching has become such a powerful option for lifters who want expert guidance, without needing to be in front of their coach every session.

Whether you're balancing a busy schedule, training from a different location, or just thrive with more flexibility, remote coaching gives you direct access to a structured, individualised plan—with the same level of feedback, accountability, and technical precision you'd get in person.

But what does remote coaching actually look like?

Coach Sebb is he’s here to break down exactly how it works, why remote coaching is not just “following a program,” and how remote coaching can give you the structure, support, and technical refinement you need to level up.

So, What Do You Get When You Sign Up for Remote Coaching?

Individualised Programming!

Your training should be designed specifically to support your goals so that you are constantly progressing. An individualised program isn’t just about selecting exercises. True programming considers multiple factors, including:

✅ Session times that fit your schedule
✅ The number of training sessions that work best for you
✅ Volume and intensity levels tailored to your needs

Having worked with various coaches myself, I’ve experienced programs that were marketed as “individualised” but never truly catered to my needs. Many times, the program was just a template with my name slapped on it, and I could’ve paid half the price for something generic off the internet.

Remote coaching with me isn’t about that. It’s about creating a program that evolves as you do—so you stay healthy, build strength, and keep progressing long-term.

Technique Analysis

Every week, you'll send in training videos, and I’ll provide detailed, individualised feedback through video breakdowns.

My feedback isn’t just about giving cues—I take the time to explain the mechanics behind your movements so that you can learn to analyse and adjust your own technique.

Some coaches believe that too much explanation confuses the athlete. I disagree. The better you understand why something works, the better you’ll move. By deepening your technical knowledge, you’ll be able to:

🔹 Recognize movement flaws in real-time
🔹 Apply cues in the moment instead of relying on guesswork
🔹 Make faster, more efficient improvements

My goal as your coach? Not just to tell you what to fix, but to help you actually understand your movement—so you improve beyond the gym.

Constant Access to Coaching Support

Remote coaching doesn’t mean you’re left on your own. You’ll have direct access to me whenever you need support—whether it’s asking questions, troubleshooting technique issues, or sending videos for review mid-week.

You can reach me via WhatsApp and your training platform. Since I don’t see you in person daily, the more details you provide about your sessions, the better.

This includes:
✔️ How you’re feeling throughout the week
✔️ How movements feel each session
✔️ Where you’re struggling with technique or fatigue

The more information I have, the more accurately I can adjust your programming and be a better coach for you. Individualised programming doesn’t happen instantly—it requires observing how you move across different exercises, assessing your capacity, and fine-tuning technique to help you break through plateaus.

My Approach to Remote Coaching

Every coach has a unique approach to remote coaching. My goal is to make it feel as close to in-person coaching as possible.

I do this by:

💡 Providing detailed, personalized feedback on every lift
💡 Adjusting programming weekly based on your progress & feedback
💡 Keeping communication open—so you’re never left guessing

At MWBC, remote coaching isn’t about giving you a program and hoping for the best. It’s about guiding you through every step of your lifting journey—no matter where you train.

If you’re serious about weightlifting, strength training, or just getting better under the bar, remote coaching could be the structure and support you need.
